It is also the rose that was first made famous 1,400 years ago in Surat Ar- Rahman of the Holy Quraan.
Bismillah Ar Rahman Ar Raheem

Quraan (55) Surat Ar Rahman:
37. When the sky is torn apart, so it was (like) a red rose, like ointment
37. When the sky is torn apart, so it was (like) a red rose, like ointment
38. Than which of the favours of your Lord will you deny?
With the truth of Islam right in front of people, why can't people see the light, or follow the right path? Why is ignorance or disbelief the chosen mindset of these people? Al7amdulilah, the miracles of Allah are all around us. We just have to open up our minds to the living miracle of the Quraan and give our hearts to Allah, (SWT).

I just realized that I posted something similar to this before. Whatever, I'm still learning all this blogging stuff. Does me repeating something mean that I'm really passionate about it? Anyway, this post is more specific. Hope you enjoy.

hmm since it was a question i'll answer simply ...
eh it didn't exactly have that nebula or that picture in mind, and there is no reason to believe based on quranic "science" ...
if you can see a miracle of god please enlighten us for we are lost
Dana,
I highly recommend reading 'History of God' for Karen Armstrong, in her introductory pages she said something most of us never noticed.
I can't quote her now as I don't have the book in front of me, but she said something like, before messengers start to appear, people were looking for God badly and once God sent messenger to those people they started to deny it and saying God is Sun/Moon/Sky/ or whatever they believed that has the power.
I already knew about the dangerous of smoking but now I try to deny it as I enjoy burning every single bit of my lovely cigarette; Yes, that's us.
no_angel: Can the mention of 'red rose' in the Quraan mean anything else? Especially when it was mentioned 1400 years before this photograph was taken? Please clarify, how can you not see it as a miracle?
jad: I'll check that book out, thanks for the tip.
not sure if u will get this but here is the reply to ur question.
I don't particularly know what the red rose means in that one...
but if you read the couple of verses before it you will get the idea that it is speaking of a consequential even and about the judgment day in reference to that specific verse
so when "There will be sent against you both, smokeless flames of fire and (molten) brass, and you will not be able to defend yourselves." (ar rahman 35) occurs then you will see what the red rose means in that verse.
and we can both agree that it is not judgment day yet so do you now understand what i mean by me not seeing any scientific miracle in this context ?
